The brush with the Telescopic Mascara is the same as the Telescopic Carbon Black. They both have a flexible precision brush. I personally love this style of brush because it works well for both the top and bottom lashes. Much easier to apply mascara without wearing it all over my skin! Aside from their ‘Double Extend Beauty Tubes’, I’ve never been a huge fan of L’Oreal mascaras, not even the Voluminous (shocking, right?!). I love their other products. But their mascara line has never really wowed me. Until I found this – L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara ($10). Glad to know I wasn't the only hating on They're Real - have you tried their Roller Lash? I don't know, I guess the clumps look a bit better in photos than they do in real life. But yeah, this one dries super stiff - and when you wash it off with a cleansing oil, it comes off in little clumps and flakes too.

For a drugstore mascara, I cannot recommend it enough!
